Whenever you are able to share your special place with your nearest and dearest it’s a celebration. But when you are married at that special place it takes it to a whole new level! Julie and Nick were married at one of the oldest boys summer camps on Lake Winnipesaukee, Camp Belknap. Preparations took place in the camp staff cottages, the ceremony was in the gorgeous outdoor chapel tucked in the tall pines, dinner served in the dining hall and cocktails and dancing were shoreline at Conlon Lodge! I loved hearing the guests chat about their camp experiences and seeing everyone come together to celebrate this phenomenal couple.

In the small town of Hollis, NH is Beaver Brook, an environmental association tucked into the woods on a gorgeous sprawling farm. Stone walls, little barns, thoughtfully planned gardens in every direction and the setting for Liz and Scott’s wedding reception. It couldn’t get any more beautiful! I fell in love with Hollis, a town I had never visited before and know exactly why they chose to celebrate in the brides┬áhome town. Even the cozy church in the center of town that Liz grew up attending captured our hearts. It’s yet another reason whey I LOVE photographing in New England!

Every little detail of this wedding was put together by Liz and so much of their personalities were present. Fun sunglasses, always popular Koozies, custom made robes for the ladies and of course, that cake table topper! But the highlight of the reception was hands down the toast from the father of the bride. I have heard many a toast and even I couldn’t help but shed a tear! A standing ovation followed his heartfelt words to the newlyweds. I don’t think anything will ever top the lovely humor and emotional sentiments he shared. Once the applause settled and hugs were exchanged the groomsmen did a quick change into tuxedo t-shirts! Perfect for the moves they were about to bust on the dance floor with the dueling pianos playing! This band played all by request and knew how to please the crowd with a mix of their own versions of some classic party songs. It was an amazing celebration for Liz and Scott and we hope that the celebration continues for years to come for this fun loving couple! Cheers to you both!

Dan and Lauren chose to have their rustic eco wedding at Camp Laughing Loon on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. It was a beautiful lakeside wedding with friends and families who gathered from all the over the states. Being eco-conscious, the bride handmade the boutineers and bouquets using dried flowers. Lauren also made repurposed centerpieces and decorations that complimented the rustic environment of Camp Laughing Loon.
