Erin and Doug know how to do a Nantucket wedding! Every little detail to their day was quintessential Nantucket. The vintage car, Nantucket basket cake, Vineyard Vines ties, Whale belts, Brant Point portraits and all the hydrangeas! It just goes on and on!
Post ceremony the happy couple hit the beach with their wedding party for some casual portraits. The bright blue sky was the perfect backdrop to their preppy pink and navy colors! Erin and Doug strolled Main Street with me for a few more photos before heading to the White Elephant for their cocktails and reception. Their guests cheered as they walked onto the ocean side lawn and the true celebration began.
Just before the sun set for the night we took advantage of the docks in front of the White Elephant for a few quick photos. I had never seen the harbor so calm… it was breathtaking! Once seated on the deck for the reception the spirited toasts took center stage. Everyone was laughing and enjoying the touching toasts that family and friends put together for the happy couple.
The celebration then continued on the dance floor with some major dancing…. but who knew the stars of the dance floor would be those quiet ring bearers!
