Maine is a pretty spectacular place to get married. With it’s many, many… MANY coastal communities the seaside location options are endless! When Real Maine Weddings magazine asked us to head North to Bar Harbor to photograph their special gown section for the current issue we couldn’t get on the road fast enough! Bar Harbor is not only a great place to visit but the trip up is pretty fun too! We cruised up route 1 stopping to hit our favorite flea markets, antique shops and lunch spots of course! (If you’ve ever made the trip you know what we are talking about.) Once there you realize it’s so much more than just a coastal town with quaint streets, top notch restaurants and unique artists. It’s hiking, biking, boating and sightseeing! It’s one coastal town not to be missed.
Real Maine Weddings magazine puts together two publications each year and in each issue you can find a special section dedicated to stunning gowns found right here in Maine. We have been lucky enough to work with this team in the past photographing gowns and are thrilled to share our shoot from Bar Harbor. We got SO lucky with amazing Spring weather and took advantage of all that this picturesque part of the State has to offer. There is a lot of inspiration to share from this all day shoot so let’s start with what’s in the current issue of Real Maine Weddings. You can find it on shelves right now so be sure to pick one up or order a copy online.
