I couldn’t think of a better time than now to take a look back at Leah and Jason’s New Hampshire wedding…they did just celebrate their one year anniversary after all! Leah and Jason got married right around Valentine’s Day last year at the beautiful Preserve at Chocorua in Tamworth, NH. A fresh blanket of snow, twinkle lights, a warm inviting barn, and a cozy fire were just a few details that made up this perfect winter wedding. I had such a great time capturing Leah and Jason’s celebration…I mean just look at her amazing smile and the happy tears from friends and family! I hope you two have enjoyed an amazing first year together and wish you all the happiness in the years to come. Cheers to you both!

What a treat it is to look back on Elissa and Sam’s Kennebunkport, Maine wedding! These two threw such a fun party with lots of laughs and happy tears included! We love when our couples tell us why they decided to get married in Maine. Elissa and Sam spent time in Kennebunkport making memories during their early relationship and they knew they just had to return to exchange their vows and celebrate with their nearest and dearest. We’re so thankful you came back to this special place to celebrate and that you chose us to capture all the fun!

You can hear more from Elissa on her planning process in their feature in Real Maine Weddings magazine!

In the small town of Hollis, NH is Beaver Brook, an environmental association tucked into the woods on a gorgeous sprawling farm. Stone walls, little barns, thoughtfully planned gardens in every direction and the setting for Liz and Scott’s wedding reception. It couldn’t get any more beautiful! I fell in love with Hollis, a town I had never visited before and know exactly why they chose to celebrate in the brides home town. Even the cozy church in the center of town that Liz grew up attending captured our hearts. It’s yet another reason whey I LOVE photographing in New England!

Every little detail of this wedding was put together by Liz and so much of their personalities were present. Fun sunglasses, always popular Koozies, custom made robes for the ladies and of course, that cake table topper! But the highlight of the reception was hands down the toast from the father of the bride. I have heard many a toast and even I couldn’t help but shed a tear! A standing ovation followed his heartfelt words to the newlyweds. I don’t think anything will ever top the lovely humor and emotional sentiments he shared. Once the applause settled and hugs were exchanged the groomsmen did a quick change into tuxedo t-shirts! Perfect for the moves they were about to bust on the dance floor with the dueling pianos playing! This band played all by request and knew how to please the crowd with a mix of their own versions of some classic party songs. It was an amazing celebration for Liz and Scott and we hope that the celebration continues for years to come for this fun loving couple! Cheers to you both!

We’re kicking off the month of March with a lovely feature from Maine. magazine! Every February they release their “Wedding Issue” and we’re so grateful to see our work showcased on it’s pages again this year!

Our Real Wedding feature is from J and Suzi’s Kennebunkport wedding from last summer (see our blog post on their wedding here) – the navy and white color palette with small touches of red were perfect for their coastal Kennebunkport, Maine reception. We loved her sparkly Jimmy Choos and the preppy and fun striped straws at cocktail hour but having their celebration at her families long time summer home made if feel so personal. What a wonderful way to celebrate with family and friends!

We worked alongside some amazing Maine/New Hampshire wedding vendors, too!
