Daphne & Keefo | September 29, 2018 | Prouts Neck, Maine
Prouts Neck is one of those quintessential, timeless coastal Maine communities that you just fall in love with! And it was the PERFECT setting for Laura and Carl’s wedding weekend. From the shingled chapel, the navy blazers, custom lobster monogram and Laura’s heirloom veil their wedding day was straight out of New England look book! They were stunning! And those smiles! You just couldn’t help but smile when you were around them. Their excitement, energy and love for each other was so present it was contagious. Laura and Carl we are coming up on your one year anniversary (how is that possible!) and we wish you many more picture perfect days in the years to come! Cheers!
Catherine and Brian treated their wedding guests to a weekend of what Prout’s Neck is all about! Both sharing a love of outdoor activities and time with family and friends their Prout’s Neck Wedding weekend was a true weekend of fun! It’s always a treat when our couples opt to have us cover more than just their wedding day. We get a chance to get to know their family and friends and learn more about them as a couple too! We started our coverage the day before their wedding, capturing a fun afternoon at the beach that included a group swim, paddle board, kayak adventure off Prout’s Neck Beach. That night we met up with family and wedding party for their rehearsal dinner at the Prout’s Neck Yacht Club, while guests attended a welcome party just down the street. Toasts filled the room post dinner and were followed by a walk down memory lane with a slideshow put together by Brian’s Mom. We LOVE photographing nights like this with lots of candid laughter and all the excitement of the next day to look forward to.
The moments in between the ones on the list are always some of our favorites.
There are so many things about Sarah and Brendan’s Prout’s Neck wedding we just loved! The amazing details like the custom flag flying over head at the Prout’s Neck Yacht Club, the painted buoys adorning trees at all of the important places that were part of their celebration, El’s custom calligraphy on the mussel shells decorating the head table, Kate’s glowing string lights and sail installation hung over the dance floor, but the best part by far was getting to know this amazing couple and their family and friends. It was such a treat to be a part of this special day. Congratulations Sarah and Brendan! We wish you many years of happiness together!
