Nantucket Wedding, Great Harbor Yacht Club Part 2

This Nantucket wedding weekend continued with Amanda and Vincent’s vows at the charming Sconset Chapel. A tiny little wedding chapel on the East end of the island that has an intimate feel. Amanda and Vincent smiled, laughed and held hands through their vows. As they kissed the guests cheered loudly with such excitement! One of my favorite moments was when the new Mr. and Mrs. exited the Chapel doors and scooted off to the side entrance, alone as husband and wife, hugging and taking in the moment. If you look closely at the photo of the Chapel facade you will see the happy couple off to the right as their guests are exiting the front of the Chapel. This is also a favorite part of mine in their wedding film because you can HEAR what they are saying to one another!  Such cherished moments!!

After Amanda & Vincent zoomed away in their aptly decorated get away car, we met for a few portraits in the fog. A passerby called it “mystical” and that is exactly what it felt like as they walked down the crushed shell path through the cottages. Nantucket is the “Grey Lady” for a reason!

For their reception we were off to the Great Harbor Yacht Club where Dawn Kelly from Soiree Floral infused touches of France into the table tops with sprigs of lavender and the traditional blue table numbers. An ode to Vincent’s French heritage and the time the happy couple spent together there. I just love it when couples celebrate their history together when planning their wedding details! This wedding had so many perfectly planned details and amazing moments! I want to share them all,  so I think that a part 3 blog post is in order!
