When Pantone announced the color of the year for 2020 I pretty much jumped for joy! Classic blue….a timeless favorite and perfect for any New England wedding! I took a quick look back at some of the gorgeous ways our past clients worked classic blues into their wedding day. Here is a little dose of inspiration… I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings!
Year after year it seems Summer comes and goes so quickly! As a Maine wedding photographer I live for the Summer months. The rocky coastline is just a breathtaking backdrop for photos and meeting so many families that hold this place that I call home so close to their hearts is just the best! Megan and Josh got married last August and with the first few snow falls of the season I can’t help but reminisce about this warm, love filled day! The Breakwater Inn was the perfect place to celebrate with the gorgeous view of the river and plenty of space for their beautiful tent…oh! and how about those nearby fireworks at the end of the night?! It doesn’t get much better than this. Although we’re in for a long Winter ahead, I’ll take any chance I can get to bring myself back to these sunshine filled, dreamy days while I wait for next season.
‘Tis the season for giving and we have some fun ideas for someone special. One of the most thoughtful gifts we can recommend to you is a family portrait session. Have you ever had the best family vacation of your lives and found yourself wishing you had photos to look back on? Or, how many times is mom or dad behind the lens but not in any of the photos? We have met so many families that return to Maine every year and we just love the opportunity to capture those memories for them to remember. Email us to purchase your gift certificate and when your trip gets closer we can set a date for your portrait session. Sessions include an online gallery so the whole family can view the photos no matter where they are!

This past summer I was able to photograph some pretty amazing events, however the Full Plates Full Potential event at Flanagan’s Farm was surely one for the books! Full Plates Full Potential is an organization working to eradicate child hunger in the state of Maine. Currently 1 in 5 children in Maine alone are food insecure and Full Plates Full Potential is working around the clock to reduce that number to 0. I am always honored to take photos for this important organization here in Maine and this event was no exception.
On May 19th, 2019, Full Plates Full Potential hosted a charity dinner featuring many of greater Portland’s James Beard award winning chefs to kick off their summer season and it was just AMAZING. The action in the kitchen, the delicious food, and all of the great people that came together to donate to such a great cause made for a memorable evening. Here are a few of my favorites from the night.
Full Plates Full Potential is always hosting events and accepting donations! Visit their website here to learn more!

Earlier this year I had to absolute pleasure of photographing my dear friend and colleague, Sara of Sara Fitz in her cozy coastal home currently featured in Yankee Magazine. While all the credit goes too Sara for creating the subjects that photograph so beautifully, I can’t help but to get a little giddy seeing my name and photos in print and thinking. “I made that.” In case you aren’t in the local Yankee Magazine distribution area, I’ll give you a sneak peek.
