Meghan and Mike were married last June at the adorable St. Brendan’s Chapel in Biddeford Pool, Maine. I had met the happy couple and their families a year before their wedding day, we worked together for their engagement portraits and chatted several times about their wedding day plans. So when the big day rolled around I felt like I was just as excited as they were to see it all come together!
It was a very HOT day for Maine but the overcast sky kept the sun from completely melting the guests! It also helped that lemonade was served in the shade at the Chapel after the ceremony while everyone took a moment to congratulate the newly married couple. We hit Goose Rocks Beach after their nuptials for some playful portraits with the wedding party and Meghan and Mike. I loved working with this group! There were plenty of jokes flying and teasing of Mike for his ceremony miss-hap, it was light and fun for all of us.
The Nonantum is in the heart of Kennebunkport and a favorite venue for weddings. Located right on the water with it’s classic white adirondack chairs and expansive lawn it’s picture perfect New England! Their guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn, a seated dinner inside as the sunset and danced the night away! It was truly a celebration.
