This fun filled spring Nantucket wedding is in need of a two day post! I couldn’t narrow down all the amazing details and fun portraits for just one post, so for today we will start with Erin and Doug’s rehearsal dinner, getting ready and their ceremony. Next post we can dive into the reception fun, and there is TONS of fun!
Erin and Doug kicked off their wedding weekend with an intimate dinner at one of their favorite downtown restaurants, The Boarding House. There was so much excitement as guests arrived fresh off the boat to hugs and cheers! Doug and Erin have an amazing spirit to them and were hilarious to work with, comes with the territory I guess as Doug is a comedian by trade.
The next day I met Erin, her parents and bridesmaids as they gathered to get Erin ready for the big day. Smiles and laughter filled the room but you could feel the nervous excitement as the vintage car rolled up the tiny side street to take Erin and her father to St. Mary’s church. Erin looked amazing as her bridesmaids pinned her veil in place just before she joined arms with her father to walk down the aisle. Their ceremony was just like the rest of their weekend … filled with smiles, laughter, family and friends! I just adored working with these two and can’t wait to bring you the rest of their big day…. stay tuned!
