When we work with our wedding couples we are constantly discussing what they plan to do with their wedding photos after the big day. Albums are included as part of every couples’ experience here in our studio and an important part of the service we offer. We truly believe our jobs are not done until everyone has a tangible item to hand down for generations. Because after all, we have NO idea where technology is headed and I am pretty sure your Facebook or Instagram feed won’t be how your grandchildren come across photos of your wedding day! You need to print your photos and what better way to persevere your wedding day story than with an album?!

We are so excited to be sending out Celine and Jeff’s wedding album today and took a few photos to share! This is our signature album with ash leather and silver embossing. Stunning! We can’t wait for them to relive their day.

This past fall our dear friend and colleague Sara from Sara Fitz (amazing stationery and watercolor artist!) invited us over to photographer her gorgeous home and workspace. We LOVE our shoots with Sara and were so excited to capture her home on the coast of Maine. Her easy breezy coastal vibe is evident in every little nook of her home and of course perfect for a feature on Style Me Pretty Living! One of our favorite blogs for all things lovely and stylish! Here is a taste from the shoot but you can see the full feature on SMP here!

This week started off with a snow day here in Maine and looking back on this gorgeous sunny fall day warmed us right up! Maddy and John’s Prouts Neck wedding was filled with so many amazing moments you might want to grab a warm mug and snuggle in for this blog post! (If you haven’t yet seen their rehearsal dinner be sure to check that out too!)

Prouts Neck is a special little spot on the coast of Maine. It’s always a treat to photograph weddings there; it feels so intimate, tucked away from the hustle and bustle and just a touch more relaxing for everyone. There is just an ease with everything being so close together. Some guests ride their bikes to the little chapel and Maddy and John both walked to the ceremony with their wedding attendants! There is a bit more time to enjoy, breathe and soak in the day out on “the neck”, I love that! And that is just what this couple did! The smiles on their faces say it all… getting ready, first look, ceremony, ride to the reception, hugs at cocktail hour, dancing and toasts. And that is exactly why I love photographing weddings. It’s about joy like this! The excitement filled the room (how cute is Maddy’s Mom!?!?!) and I am just guessing, but I bet everyone in attendance had sore cheeks the next day.
